This is based on the price of whole wheat (not flour) in vicinity of Chicago: $1.50/lb
Half Sa‘ of wheat is 1.75 kg = 3.858 lb
3.858lb x $1.50 = $5.79
Therefore, $6.00 should be giving per person.
