Fatwa Answer
As salaam aleikum Brother,
I have a question about inheritance. My father left us to meet Allah subhanuwatala. He left behind $25000, his wife, 5 daughters and two sons. How shall the wealth be distributed. He has no parents and no siblings alive.Hoping that you will help us to distribute in shariah way.

On condition of accuracy of the asked question, after executing the prior rights of inheritance (funeral and burial expenses, payment of loans and executing the WILL which should not exceed 1/3rd of the deceased’s wealth) divide the remaining movable and immovable property/wealth into seventy two (72) parts:
a. Nine (9) parts will be given to the widow.
b. Each of the five daughters will receive seven (7) parts.
c. Two sons will each receive fourteen (14) parts.
(فَيُفْرَضُ لِلزَّوْجَةِ فَصَاعِدًا الثَّمَنُ مَعَ وَلَدٍ أَوْ وَلَدِ ابْنٍ)(الدر مع الرد : ۶/ ۷۷۰)
ثُمَّ شَرَعَ فِي الْعَصَبَةِ بِغَيْرِهِ فَقَالَ (وَيَصِيرُ عَصَبَةً بِغَيْرِهِ الْبَنَاتُ بِالِابْنِ وَبَنَاتُ الِابْنِ بِابْنِ الِابْنِ) وَإِنْ سَفَلُوا (رد المحتار : ۶/ ۷۷۵
