Assalamulaikum,
My name is Mohammed Akram, I live in Salt lake city Utah. The only zabiha halal chicken I get here is from crescent foods and that too on just 2-3 Walmart in a complete state.
I have informed by few people from Illinois, that chicken from Crescent foods are no longer Zabiha. They said that, there was an unexpected visit from sharia board to the plant and it was declared non zabiha. Can you please confirm this, so that I can either continue if it's still zabiha or else i will completely avoid it.

As of today 12/10/2021, all of Crescent Foods fresh Chicken, Lamb, Beef and Turkey products and all further processed products including Breaded Chicken Nuggets, Breaded Breast Chunks and Breaded Chicken Tenders are certified and monitored by the Halal Monitoring Services of Shariah Board of America.
For future reference you can take a look at the list of certified and monitored businesses across different states, from this link (https://shariahboard.org/certified-listings) by navigating between Restaurants, Retailers, Processors etc. tabs and selecting a state name from the State dropdown.
There was a suspension for Crescent's Chicken Breast Breaded Tenders certificate only, on 06/28/21, due to an issue identified during audit and after investigation, identification of the root cause (that led to the error) and corrective action, this certificate was reinstated on 08/13/21.
