Assalamualaikum Warahmatullah
Is it permissible according to the Islamic Shariah to get married for a second time without informing or asking for permission from the first wife? I performed my second marriage without informing the first wife and now she is forcing me to divorce my second wife. Does she have a right to force me to divorce my second wife?

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullah
In order to perform a second Nikah, it is not required to take permission from the first wife and the first wife does not have a right to pressure you to divorce your second wife. However it is mandatory upon you to fulfill the rights of both your wives to the fullest extent.

السلام علیکم ورحمۃ اللہ وبرکاتہ
کیا اسلامی شریعت اس بات کی اجازت دیتی ہے کہ ایک شخص اپنی پہلی بیوی کو اطلاع کئے بغیر یا اس سے اجازت لئے بغیر دوسری شادی کر لے؟ میں نے دوسری شادی پہلی بیوی کو بتائے بغیر کر لی ہے اور اب میری پہلی بیوی مجھے اس بات پر مجبور کر رہی ہے کہ میں اپنی دوسری بیوی کو طلاق دے دوں۔ کیا اس کو یہ حق ہے کہ وہ مجھے میری دوسری بیوی کو طلاق دینے پر مجبور کرے؟

السلام علیکم ورحمۃ اللہ وبرکاتہ
دوسرے نکاح کے لئے پہلی بیوی سے اجازت لینا ضروری نہیں ہے،اور نہ پہلی بیوی کو یہ حق ہے کہ وہ دوسری بیوی کو طلاق دینے پر مجبور کرے۔البتہ آپ پر ضروری ہے کہ دونوں کے حقوق مکمل اداکریں۔
