I have a question regarding Zakat. My sister started her job last August (2018). She is saving up money for our older sister’s wedding and she gives money at home too. My dad is not able to make enough for his children’s wedding and for all the necessities, which is why she took the responsibility of our house financial situation. The rest of us are still studying. She has student loan on her too since she went to Pharmacy school here. She has to pay for her loan as well. Does she have to give Zakat on her shaadi money that she saved up so far? Jazakallah
